Bigger & Better: Ready to Conquer Europe!

Our last update was published end of June, and a lot has happened since then. We have changed our team (both members & structure), made immense app improvements (functionality, speed & design), our web platform is a lot more developed and we are now actively raising capital, ready to conquer the nightlife & events industry!

Get in the Ring

Get in the Ring is a global network of organizations that host start-up competitions all around the globe. Speakers from various companies battle in an actual fighting ring by pitching their business plans and convincing the jury and audience. Last week, Nocto founder & CEO David Franzén competed against 80 other startups in the national edition of GITR 2017. Despite not making the finals, it was a great opportunity to share our vision with future partners and investors, gain app users and validation from interested corporates.


An Updated Strategy

Until recently, we had mainly been focusing on providing access to our web platform to bars and clubs, through which they can review and analyze the data our app collects from within their venue. This option is still available, and we refer to these venues as Platform Clients (bars, clubs, restaurants, hotels, event organizers, artists etc). This is mainly for “smaller & local venues/groups.”

Our updated strategy includes the creation of a Nocto Community, where Community Members not only have access to the web platform, but they also have access to each other, receive personal consultation and finally, are put into contact with our Community Partners. Community Partners are industry leaders in all the markets relevant to a venue or to an event organizer/artist. “Influential & International venues/groups” are what we are looking for in our Community Members.

As with all of our clients and collaborators, your success is our success. Any venue or group that we work with, our objective is now to help you become the place to be or the show to experience.


Share & Connect

Considering the success of the 1st Entrepreneurial Networking Event last September, IBIS Rotterdam City Centre and Nocto will be hosting our 2nd event on Friday 24th of November 2017. The event will first welcome 3 speakers, each presenting their field of experience and telling their story with tricks of the trade. After, an open meet & greet for all the guests including an opportunity to speak individually with the experts for direct questions.

Of course, as it is a Nocto event, you’ll be able to use your Nocs to get FREE drinks at the IBIS bar! By default, you receive 3 Nocs when you first download the app, and when you arrive at the event we’ll gift you an additional 3 Nocs, and you can collect more Nocs by uploading your own Insights and sharing your experiences with the Nocto community! The IBIS bar offers beer / wine / soda for 2 Nocs, and Cocktails for 5 Nocs.
